Guest: Dr. Caron Goode

Dr. Caron Goode is a licensed psychotherapist, teacher, entrepreneur, author and mother. Gifted with compassion and a deep desire to assist others in reaching their highest potential, Dr. Goode has become a well respected leader in the parent coaching industry.  In addition to founding and operating the Academy for Coaching Parents International that trains students in her empowerment model of parent coaching, Dr. Goode is called on by the media as a parenting expert. Appearing in over 300 publications, including Parents Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens and on various local and national radio programming, Dr. Goode has shared her holistic approach to achieving parenting success and managing family relationships.

Achieving her Doctorate was always important to Caron, however when it was reached she didn’t know how to apply her education. Dr. Goode has an ED.D in Counseling Psychology, and holds the titles of National Certified Counselor and Diplomat of the American Psychotherapy Association. When the economy wiped out her desire to be a University Professor, and simultaneously mental health was changing to managed care, she fell into writing as an avocation.

Caron is the author of thirteen books, including Raising Intuitive Children, Help Kids Cope with Stress and Trauma, The Art and Science of Coaching Parents and Kids Who See Ghosts.
